Hold on to me.

Hold on to me.

when the stars rise against

the skies’ eyes,

when the void in our chests

becomes a cold sun,

when the light tastes of

withered expectations and

overrated wisdom,

when the days merge,

holding hands and seeking

each other as shelter,

when you find that your

life is a maze that you designed,

yet forgot to include an

emergency exit,

hold on to me.

Even if it takes us forever,

Hold on to me.
