Fridays With Afrah.

Welcome to Fridays with Afrah! Every week, I will share a short poem and a conspiracy theory (written by Kate). I hope you enjoy!

The sweet innocence of childhood.
Dancing in a field of daisies without a care in the world.
Looking at the stars, thinking, “I want to go there one day.”
Learning more about our world changed us:
The people, the places, just the whole scene set in our memories.
The rain and its pitter-patter were all we ever needed.
Its sound was like music to our ears.
Now, as we sit depressed at our desks with tear-stained papers surrounding us,
And the broken hearts we try to hide,
We wonder where it all went wrong.
